The fi elds of the " Adr" column, represent the addresses of the terminals
associated to the pCO board with address 12, while the Priv/Shared
column indicates the type of terminal.
Caution: the terminals of the pGD line cannot be confi gured as "Sp"
(shared printer) as they have no printer output.
If the terminal remains inactive (no key pressed) for more than 30
seconds, it automatically exits the confi guration procedure without
memorising any changes.
FAULTS SIGNALS
If the terminal detects the out of line state of the pCO board to which it is
associated, it cancels the display and shows the following message: I/O
Board xx fault.
While, if the terminal does not receive any network signal, it cancels the
display and shows the following message: NO LINK.
DISPLAY OF NETWORK STATE AND FIRMWARE VERSION
Pressing the confi guration keys simultaneously (↓ ↑
seconds (in pLAN mode only), the mask in Fig. 6 is displayed.
The screen in Fig.6 gives an example of the pLAN network state, showing
how many and which devices are connected and with which address.
Key:
: pCO controller active in the network
: terminal active in network
: no device connected
E.g. Fig. 4 represents:
pCO controllers active in network with address: 1, 2, 25.
terminals active in network with address: 3, 4, 15, 26.
Using the ↓ ↑ keys it is possible to display the fi rmware version resident in
the terminal (Fig. 7).
To exit the NetSTAT procedure, press the
LCD CONTRAST REGULATION
The
+ Prg + ↓ ↑ keys allow to regulate the contrast.

ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS

Distance up to 50 metres:
1) Fix the bypass board N°1 to the unit electric box in proximity of the pCO2, pCO3
and uPC board, connecting the metal container to machine earth.
2) Disconnect the telephone cable of the local terminal from the pCO3 board and
connect it to bypass board N°1 on the telephone connector marked "B".
3) Connect the pCO3 board with the telephone cable (connector J10) to bypass
board N°1 on the telephone connector marked "C".
4) Make sure that jumpers J14 and J 15 of the bypass boards are in position 1-2.
5) Use the telephone cable to connect the PGD1 terminal to bypass board N°2 on
the telephone connector marked "A".
6) The pLAN network address to be assigned to the PGD1 terminal is 6 (dip 2 = ON
and dip 3 = ON).
7) The pLAN network must be confi gured for the remote panel (see instructions on
WRL user manual).
