4. Place the key mat in the new front
cover (4).
5. Press the key mat gently in (5).
6. To replace the front cover, press it
gently on the phone, beginning from the bottom (6).
7. Replace the back cover of the phone. See step 8 in "Install
the SIM card and battery," page 12.

■ Install a multimedia card

Use only compatible multimedia cards (MMC) with this
device. Other memory cards, such as secure digital (SD) cards,
do not fit in the MMC card slot and are not compatible with
this device. Using an incompatible memory card may damage
the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the incompatible card
may be corrupted.
You can use a multimedia card to extend the memory of Gallery. See "Gallery,"
page 58.
1. Remove the back cover and battery from the phone. See "Install the SIM card
and battery," page 12.
2. Place the multimedia
card in the card holder.
Make sure that the
multimedia card is
properly inserted and
that the golden contact
area on the card is
facing downwards.
3. Replace the battery and back cover of the phone. See step 7 and 8 in "Install
the SIM card and battery," page 12.
