Set up browsing
You may receive the configuration settings required for browsing as a configuration
message from the network operator or service provider that offers the service that
you want to use. See "Configuration settings," page 10. You can also enter all the
configuration settings manually. See "Configuration settings," page 56.
Connect
First, verify that the correct configuration settings of the service that you want to
use are activated.
1. To select the settings for connecting to the service, select
Settings
> Configuration.
2. Select Configuration. Only the configurations that support browsing service
are shown. Select a service provider, Default, or

Account
and a browsing service account contained in the active
configuration settings.
Select
Display terminal window
for intranet connections.
Secondly, make a connection to the service in one of the following ways:

• Select a bookmark of the service: select

• Enter the address of the service: select
the address of the service, and select OK.
Browse pages
After you make a connection to the service, you can start browsing its pages. The
function of the phone keys may vary in different services. Follow the text guides
on the phone display. For more information, contact your service provider.
If GPRS is selected as the data bearer,
during browsing. If you receive a call or a text message, or make a call during an
EGPRS connection,
the EGPRS connection is suspended (on hold). After a call the phone tries to
reconnect the EGPRS connection.
