9.2. Settings data
Configuring the phone is up to the system administrator that has to press menu/enter
menu up to NETWORK SETTINGS
Some options of this menu can be modified by the user without compromising the good working of the
phone and others which, for their high impact on the telephone functions, must be only modified in
agreement with the system administrator.
9.2.1. Description of <NETWORK SETTINGS> menu
The following table describes the NETWORK SETTINGS menu.

menu. Menu is protected by password (default "999999").
Description
IP Address that must be the same as the SAMIP system where the
phone is connected to.
IP Address of the phone to be recognized by the SAMIP system
where the phone is connected to.
Subnet Mask that, togheter with the IP Address of the phone, identify
the network to which the telephone is connected to.
Enable/disable the automatic configuration of the network settings.
Gateway IP address to reach the Call Agent correctly.
IP Address of TFTP server from which download the software of the
phone (see
Software
loading).
Display the MAC Address of the phone to be recognized by the
SAMIP system where the phone is connected to.
Allow the phone to auto-enrolement; it is necessary to enter, when
required, a telephone number available in the numbering plan of the
system where the telephone is connected to.
If the number is wrong, the telephone remains in "Wait for
connection" state; so it is necessary to repeat the operation and enter
new data.
Note: The auto-enrolement needs an enabled customization data
in the system where it is connected to ("Enable the IP telephone
enrolement -> General logic carachetristics" table - must be
checked).
Allows the upgrade of the software from TFTP server and its IP
address is configured in
It is the RTP port of the telephone provided by the Call Agent at the
connection (default value: 1600).
Enable/Disable the Quality Of Service status.
Allows the setting of QoS parameters.
