This manual provides fitting, operating and
maintenance instructions for the P-132
Masher attachment available for SAMMIC
multi-function food processors.
The serial number and specifications of the
model appear on the rating plate attached to
the machine.

INSTALLATION
Please follow the instructions in this manual
carefully to ensure the best performance and
preservation of the machine.
P-132 is an attachment for SAMMIC peelers
and combined mixers.
Before fitting the attachment, make sure to
unplug the machine.
· Fitting the P-132 Masher to peelers and
BM-series mixers (Fig. 1)
1.- Unscrew lever (A) to open the drive
hub (B).
2.- Set the attachment on the hub, intro-
ducing the P-132 masher shaft (C)
into the hub hollow (D).
3.- Turn the attachment until it fits into
the pins (E) and (F) on the hub.
4.- Close the drive hub (B) by tightening
lever (A).
5.- Slightly tighten the two gear fixing
nuts (G).
· Fitting the P-132 Masher to BE-series
mixers (Fig. 2)
1.- Insert the masher into the drive hub,
aligning the back lower screw (A) with
the hub slot (B).
2.- Tighten the drive hub lever (C) to
secure the attachment in place.
3.- Slightly tighten the two gear fixing
nuts (D).
Friction between gear and sieve may lead to
a change in the sifted food colour. This will
be due to excessive clamping of the gear or
sieve deformation. In case of sieve deforma-
tion, mount the sieve on the reverse side.
The machine and attachment must form a
stable unit that will resist a force of 25N
(2.5kg) on the pusher, without overturning.
OPERATION
For improved performance of the masher,
process previously strained foodstuffs.
Ø2mm MESH SIEVE
Fine purées.
Ø4mm MESH SIEVE
Thick purées.
Ø6mm MESH SIEVE
Thick purées with vegetables.
It is advisable to chop the vegetables (leeks,
spinach, etc...) before cooking them, to
avoid strings.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
To avoid accidents, NEVER introduce your
hand or utensils in the inlet or outlet of the
P-132 Masher.
Before cleaning, servicing or repairing the P-
132 Masher, it is obligatory to unplug the
combined machine.
Handle with care while cleaning.
CLEANING
Before cleaning the attachment, always
unplug the machine.
Wash all the parts of the P-132 Masher that
come into contact with foodstuffs immedia-
tely after use with hot water and a food-
approved detergent. Then, rinse with
copious hot water and disinfect with a soft
cloth soaked in ethyl alcohol (90º).
