Fit the keel cooler using the packing rings (A), the rings (B) and
the nuts supplied.
Use a sealant when fitting the keel cooler to the ship's skin.

Fit the expansion tank at an easily accessible place above the
highest level (A) of the electric motor.
Always use a flexible hose with internal diameter 16 mm (5/8")
for the connections between the keel cooler, expansion tank
and motor.
Keep the hoses as short and with as few bends as possible.
Only use water and/or soap, thus no fatty or oily products, to
help make fitting the hoses to the hose connection points easi-
er.
Tighten each hose connection using 2 rust-proof steel hose
clamps.

Filling the cooling system

Remove the lid from the expansion tank and fill the cooling sys-
tem. Use a mixture of 40% antifreeze (on ethylene glycol basis)
and 60% clean tap water and coolant or use coolant liquid only.
See the operating manual for the specifications of the coolant
liquid to be used. Run the motor slowly while filling the cooling
system so that the air will be driven out of the system automat-
ically.
