1. S E T TI N G U P T H E A PPLI A N C E
Your new electric fireplace may be installed vir tually any where in your home.
However, when choosing a location ensure that the general instructions
are followed.

For best results, install out of direct sunlight.
•
The appliance should be connected to an ear thed electrical outlet and
it must be easily accessible to allow disconnection.
2 . P OW E R S O C K E T
•
Connect the mains cable (you can lead the mains cable from the framed
wall opening to an existing socket or install a socket on a nearby wall base
inside the wall).
•
Make sure that the socket is in good condition and that the plug is not
loose. N E V E R exceed the maximum current rating for the circuit.
D O N OT connect other appliances to the same circuit.

It is possible to install the unit in a wall. For better ventilation, an opening
depth of 235 mm is suggested. Construct the opening according to the
specifications below.

Prepare the opening and the diffuser, place the unit carefully into the
framed opening and no fixing brackets are required.
NOTE: If the existing opening is slightly narrower, the handles on both
sides can be removed.
