SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following general instructions apply:
People with mental, physical or sensory disabilities and children
do not recognise the risks that may arise when using the inhala-
tion device and its components. Never allow anyone from these
groups access to the inhalation device without supervision.
For example, there is a risk that individual parts may be swal-
lowed and block the respiratory tract, or bitten or bitten off, or that
the inhalation device may be pulled off the table by the connec-
tion tubing or power cord. There is also a danger of strangulation
with the connection tubing or power cord. Therefore, make sure
that you always keep the compressor, the nebuliser and the
accessories out of the reach of babies and infants.
INQUA GmbH cannot be held responsible for damage that is
caused by improper or incorrect use, e.g., use of a compressor
made by another manufacturer. Therefore, you are advised to
read the instructions for use of the INQUA
®
INQUA
compressor carefully and to familiarise yourself with the
device before using it. It is particularly important to follow the
instructions for use of the INQUA
You must conscientiously follow the general hygiene procedures
when using your nebuliser, e.g., thorough washing of hands or
disinfection if required.
Use only liquid medications that have been approved for use in
inhalation therapy with a compressed air inhalation device in your

INQUA
nebuliser. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about the
selection and application of the medications available.
In general, the following are not suitable for use in inhalation
devices: cough mixtures, gargles, balsamic preparations, oils of
medicinal plants, and drops that are used as ointments or added
to the bath. Inhaling these medications can cause irreversible
damage to the respiratory tracts.
Such substances can also impair the function of the inhalation
device permanently.
