• 2 tbsp runny honey
• 3 cm root ginger, peeled
• and roughly chopped
• Bottle of sparkling water or wine
• Squeeze of lime
• To serve: Lots of ice cubes and slices of lemon
Preparation:
1. Attach the cross blade to the blending jug and insert the extractor/filter down the centre of the jug, place
the lid on top of the blender to secure the extractor.
2. Add the pineapple, ginger and lemon and blend, this may have to be done in batches.
3. Fill a nice serving jug full of ice and pour over the juice, add the honey and fizz and stir well squeeze the
juice of a lime over the top and add slices of lemon to the jug.

More Smoothie Ideas
Pomegranate and Banana:
Peel 3 large ripe bananas, cut into chunks and freeze in a plastic bag for an hour. Drop the banana chunks into
a blender. Scrape the seeds from a vanilla pod with the back of a knife and add them to the blender. Pour
in 250ml pomegranate juice, 500ml natural yoghurt and 1–2 tbsp honey. Blend until smooth and serve in
chilled glasses.

Fig, Honey and Yoghurt: Beeren- und Joghurt-Smoothies:
Trim 8 ripe figs, removing the tops, then cut into quarters. Put into a blender along with 600ml semi-
skimmed milk, 200 ml natural yoghurt and 6–8 tbsp honey to taste. Add 4–6 ice cubes, for extra chill if you
like. Blend until smooth and thick, then pour into chilled glasses.
Serves 4
Berry & Yoghurt Smoothie: Place 200g raspberries and
200g blackberries into the blending jug. Pour in 300ml chilled milk and 6 heaped tbsp natural yogurt and
2-3 tbsp maple syrup to taste. Add 4-6 ice cubes and blend until smooth and thick. Serve in chilled glasses.
Serves 4
Tip: If you want to reduce the serving size to 2 people, halve the quantity of ingredients and add them to the tall
cup, attach the cross blade and blend. Screw on the stay fresh lid and pop any left overs into the fridge for later
on in the day.
