Raise the hitch into postion, loosely install the m12 x 40mm bolt and conical
washer (teeth side against hitch) with 2 of the 1/4" x 1 x 2 spacers sandwiched
between the bracket and the hitch, repeat each side.
Tighten all 1/2" fasteners with torque wrench to 50Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M) and all
M12 fasteners to 76 Lb-ft (103 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

To install rivet nut in crossmember, hold hitch tight against the crossmember
while tightening the 1/2"-13 hex bolt, conical toothed washer (teeth side
toward the hitch) & rivet nut to 50 lb-ft (68 N*M). This will seat the rivet nut.
Tip: If the rivet nut spins in the hole and not tighten, place a 1/2" lockwasher
between the hitch and the rivet nut and torque to 50 Lb-ft to seat the rivet
nut. Then loosen the bolt and remove the lockwasher & reinstall the 1/2"-13
hex bolt and conical tooth washer (teeth side toward hitch).
