4.4 Charging the robot

TIP: If you want to use the robot as soon as possible, charge
the robot with the mains adapter. That way, you save time
which you would otherwise need to set up the charging sta-
tion.
It is best to charge the robot's rechargeable battery pack be-
fore each use, especially after the appliance has not been
used for a while.
This increases the service life of the rechargeable battery
and ensures the longest possible cleaning cycles.
With the mains adapter:
1. Switch on the robot (fig. 10).
2. Connect the mains adapter to the appliance (fig. 11).
3. Connect the mains adapter to an outlet socket.
With the charging station:
1. Set up and connect the charging station. chapter „Set-
ting up and connecting the charging station", page 60
2. Place the robot on the charging station.
In the process, make sure that the charging contacts on
the robot touch those in the charging station.
– "00" appears on the display screen.
– Every 2.4 minutes the charge status increases by 01.
– The Power LED " " flashes green.
