IMPORTANT! Install software first before attaching the NXLCDC to your computer. The software installs the
drivers needed for the NXLCDC when it first attached to the computer's USB port.
1.) Turn on the amplifier(s) and make sure the NXLCDC is connected to the amplifier as explained in the
"Connections" section of this manual. Confirm that the NXLCDC is on and that it has detected amplifier(s)
in the network.
2.) Turn on your computer. Make sure if your laptop offers a Power Save mode, the you adjust your
settings to maximum performance. The Power Save mode normally reduces the performance of the CPU
in order to conserve battery life. However it can cause problems to the NXCS software and resources
required for operation and saving of the settings.
3.) Confirm that you have installed the NXCS software and make sure the NXCS software is closed.
4.) Using the USB cable provided, attach the mini USB plug into the front panel of the NXLCDC labeled
"PC INPUT". Attach the other full size USB plug into an available USB port on your computer.
5.) (This step is only required for first time use) The computer will display a window "New Hardware
Found". Check the box "Yes, this time only" and click "Next". In the next window you will be asked "If
your hardware came with an installation CD or floppy disc, insert it now". There is no need to insert the
disc since you have already installed the software. Select "Install the CD Install the Software
Automatically (Recommended)" and click "Next". The new hardware wizard will search your hard
drive for the drivers that were installed by the NXCS software and load them. Once the drivers are loaded
click "Finish" and the software is ready to use with NXLCDC.
6.) Double click on the NXS Mobile Audio icon on your desktop to open the NXCS software. During
startup the program will scan the DSP Netlink for amplifiers in the system and load the software.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the amplifier power is ON and always connect the USB cable between the NXLCDC
and computer before opening the NXCS software.
