5. To Set Up

1. Unscrew the Water Reservoir Cap counterclockwise.
2. Fill the Water Reservoir with clean, cool water. Do not use carbonated water and do not add oils or
fragrances to the water. For best results, use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits. Replace the
Water Reservoir Cap by screwing it on clockwise.
3. Place the Water Reservoir onto the Base, making sure it seats properly.
4. Place the humidifier on a flat, level, stable, waterproof surface in a place where it cannot be easily knocked
over. Select an elevated position if possible such as a table, dresser, chair, or nightstand. Do not place
the humidifier on the floor or near delicate furniture.
5. Connect the power cord to a standard 110 VAC electrical outlet. Route the power cord so that it does not
pose a trip hazard.

6. To Use

1. Rotate the Control Knob clockwise to switch the humidifier on; the Power LED will illuminate in green.
Continue to turn the Control Knob clockwise to increase mist output.
2. Turn the Mist Nozzle to the desired direction.
3. Rotate the Control Knob counterclockwise to decrease mist output. Continue to rotate the Control Knob
to the
position to shut the humidifier off; the Power LED will shut off.
4. When the water level becomes low, the humidifier will shut off and the Power LED will turn red; shut the
humidifier off, refill with water, and then turn the humidifier back on to reactivate.
5. Shut the device off before refilling with water. Change the water in your humidifier regularly to ensure
a fresh supply.
6. Shut the humidifier off, unplug the power cord, and empty any remaining water whenever the
humidifier is not in use.
NOTE: Monitor the relative humidity level in the room to ensure it does not exceed 60%.

7. Care, Maintenance and Disposal

NOTICE: Unplug unit from outlet and allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
At least weekly, clean all parts that come into contact with water. Remove the Water Reservoir and wipe all
parts with a damp cloth. Let dry and then reassemble.
Cleaning the Transducer:
Use a little brush or cloth to gently clean the Transducer, then rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with
a soft cloth. If needed to remove hard water deposits, add a few drops of descaling solution to the membrane
and let it sit for 2-5 minutes, then brush and rinse.
Cleaning the Water Reservoir:
Use a mild detergent or a vinegar-based cleaner added to the Water Reservoir that is half full of water. Attach
the Water Reservoir Plug and shake the contents vigorously. Remove the Water Reservoir Plug and empty
the contents. Repeat as needed, then rinse by repeating this process with fresh water.
This process can also be used with a descaling solution to remove hard water deposits.
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
