Operating instructions
Description of the instrument:
Monocular scope with internal focusing.
Is supplied in two execution types:
HA 75 with obligue insight - 392 6513 80901
HS 75 with straight insight - 392 6513 80902
Interchangeable eyepieces (Fig. C) enable
different magnifications:
30xWA.. wide angle eyepiece for 30x magnification
20-60x.. eyepiece with variable magnification
from 20x to 60x
The optical diameter of the scope lens (Fig.A-6)
is 75 mm. A contingent unwanted influence of
piercing counterlight can be reduced by a pull-out
sunshade (Fig.A-5). The focusing mechanism can
be controlled by a central turning ring (Fig.A-3)
fitted with rubber sleeve. The optical surfaces of
all deciding optical elements are provided with
antireflection coatings increasing the light power
of the scope, the image brilliance, and hindering
8
from unwanted reflexes. The dioptric defect of
the eye can be corrected up to ±5 diopters,
the minimum observing distance is 4,2 mm.
Individual parts of the scope are sealed with
inner rubber rings and secured.
Completeness of the instrument in standard
execution:
- scope body with protective cover
- eyepiece with protective cap (on the customer`s
request)
- guarantee sheet
Optional accessories:
- photoadapter
- carrying case
- second eyepiece
Use of the instrument:
Caution! Never aim the scope at the sun when
observing. Even a glance at the sun disk can
bring about permanent eye damage.
After removing the scope body from the transport
packaging take off the cap of the thread joint of
the body, the cap of the thread joint of the
eyepiece and screw the eypiece on the scope
body.
The eyepiece is to be tightened firmly for securing
its water-proof connection with the body, yet
without using big force. Unpropre forcible
handling can bring about damage of securing
elements, impairment of tightness and thus also
of resistance of the scope. Fasten the scope to the
tripod by means of the thread joint W 1/4"
(nowadays nearly all tripods for photo and video
are fitted with W 1/4" thread).
Keep the scope clean. The optical surfaces should
be cleaned only when really necessary,
preferably using a ball-blower or by wiping with
a fine cloth or a soft brush. Avoid shocks or falls
on hard substrate.
Use of the photoadapter:
The photoadapter allows using the HA/HS 75
scope as telephoto lens of a single-reflex camera
(SLR) for 24x36 mm format. Connection of these
instruments gives rise to a telephoto lens with
focal distance of f = 800 mm. The photoadapter
is attached to the scope body by means of a
thread joint for eyepieces. Various types of
photocameras are attached to the photoadapter
by means of a T2 ring one end of whitch is
provided with thread M 42x0,75 (conforming to
the thread on the photoadapter) and the opposite
end is adapted to the connecting part of the
photocamera (thread or bayonet). The T2 rings
for various types of photocameras can be bought
in shops for photo accessories. For receiving
good results it is necessary to adhere to some
principles: for successful work it is recommended
to us
a tripod as solid as possible, shortest
possible exposure times and high sensibility films.
It is also necessary to pay attention to optimum
focusing.
