9. Install seat back cushion heat pad - remove front and
rear heat pad sticky tape (similar to above procedure for
seat cushion) - see Figures 6.
10. Reinstall trim cover to seat back cushion and then to
seat back frame.
Passenger's Seat Cushion and Seat Back Heat Pad

11. Heat pad installation process for passenger's seat is
exactly the same as the above driver's seat installation
process.
Driver's Heated Seat Electronic Module Assembly:
12. Using the electronic module included in the kit as a
pattern, locate existing hole on the seat pan as shown
in Figure 7 and then mark for the second hole - see
Figure 7.
NOTE: Module is shown on the top side of the seat pan
to mark holes only.
13. Using an electric drill with a 1/4" drill bit, drill-out exist-
ing hole and drill new hole - see Figure 8.

14. Assemble the electronic heated seat module to seat
frame with the two nuts and bolts included in the kit,
tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) - refer to Service Procedure
1696609 - see Figures 9 and 10.

15. Make sure to clean-up any metal shavings that may be
laying in the seat frame - a magnet is shown doing this
in Figure 11.
16. Reinstall driver's (and passenger's) seat cushions to
seat frames and reassemble seat trim components
removed in step #3 above - see Figure 12.
