ing manual, and keep it in a
safe place for other users
– Danger of electric shock!
Never immerse the jug or
the base station in water or
any other liquid
– Never put the jug or the
base station in a dishwash-
er
– Before connecting to a
power outlet, check that
your supply voltage com-
plies with that specified on
the appliance
− Always pull out the power
plug before:
– relocating the appliance
– cleaning or maintenance
– long periods of disuse
– Connect only to a proper-
ly grounded power point
(220-240 V) protected by at
least a 10 A fuse
− Damaged power cables
may only be replaced at the
customer ser- vice centre:
Danger of electric shock!
− Children more than 8 years
old may use this appliance,
but only under supervision
or after instruction and fully
understanding the associat-
ed risks and dangers.
– Cleaning and user main-
tenance must not be done
by children unless they are
aged 8 or more and under
supervision.
– Keep this appliance and
power cable away from chil-
dren younger than 8.
– Children must not play with
this appliance because they
cannot know the dangers
involved.
– Never clamp or run the
power cable over sharp
corners or edges: Danger
of electric shock!
– Only use this appliance with
the original base station
– Keep the bottom of the ap-
pliance and the base station
dry. Do not spray with water
or clean with a damp cloth.
– Caution: the jug is hot after
operation; do not touch in-
terior metal surfaces! Allow
to cool down completely.
– Using spare parts or ac-
cessories not recommend-
ed by the manufacturer can
cause damage.
– This appliance may only be
used for foaming and heat-
ing milk. Do not use it for
any other purpose. Do not
exceed the maximum filling
level («MAX MILK» / «MAX
FROTH» mark in the jug);
Danger of scalding by hot
milk spray or overflow!
– Never move the appliance
during operation. Danger of
scalding by hot milk spray
from under the lid!
– For optimal results and hy-
gienic operation, always
clean the appliance thor-
oughly after use. Do not use
in case of:
– faulty operation, leakage
– damaged power cable
− after falling or any other
damage.
In such cases immediately
have the appliance checked
by your service agent and
repaired if necessary.
− No liability can be accept-
ed for damage due to un-
professional repairs, which
also render the guarantee
null and void.
