It is important to follow all instructions shipped with this product. This device is
to be installed by a trained electrician who is thoroughly familiar with the National
Electrical Code and will follow NEC Guidelines as well as local codes.
The selection of the mounting location for the device, its controls and the routing
of the wiring is to be accomplished under the direction of the facilities engineer and the
safety engineer. In addition, listed below are some other important safety instructions
and precautions you should follow:

DESCRIPTION.
The Federal Signal Model AM100T is a heavy-duty, transformer coupled, 100-watt,
compression driver for use in high-power public address installations. Power handling
for the AM100T is 100 watts with transformer taps of 100, 50, 25, and 12.5. A screw-
driver operated power switch is used to select the desired tap. This unit is designed for
use in 70Vrms distributed systems.
The exterior is finished in durable, weatherproof paint. All openings are gasketed
to provide a watertight enclosure.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, these drivers are well suited for
any installation requiring rugged, 70 volt, high-power performance.
