9. Measurement with 60A/600A external current clamp (see Fig. 11)
Press "RANGE" for 60A/600A range switching, press "SELECT" to select the AC/
DC current clamp measurement function (see Fig. 11), and use the current clamp
provided as accessory and connect it for measurement as shown.
10. NCV measurement (see Fig. 12)
To sense the existence of an AC voltage or an electromagnetic field in the space,
place the front end of the meter close to the measured object. The analog
quantity of the induced AC voltage is approximately: ≤ threshold voltage VI, main
display "EF"; > threshold voltage VI, display "-" horizontal segment; segmentwise
voltage Vd; a total of "--" five segments are set, and the buzzer sounds with
different rhythms segmentally, to show the difference between measured
voltage. At the same time, a "red" indicator flashes on the top of the meter.
Note:
When the range switch is set to "NCV" position, there is no need to use
the probes for sensing! When the electric field voltage is greater than
100Vac, the meter will give an audible and visual alarm (distance ≤10m);
The alarm beeper will sound or not within the distance of 12mm~50mm;
it will not sound at the distance that is more than 50m.
