FLUSH MOUNT
OCCUPANCY DETECTOR
INTRODUCTION
e3 is a 360 degree flush mount occupancy
detector that uses a passive infrared sensor
to detect changes in temperature emitted by
persons or objects passing through its
detecting area.
The sensor will keep the connected lighting
fixture on even when you are seated and can
detect very slight movements (a seated
person's head or hand movements).
e3 can support "master/slave" connections
for large area coverage requirements.
Note: Read this entire manual before you
start to install the system.

consideration:
The unit is designed for indoor ceiling
flush mount and is not suitable for wall
mount. (FIGURE 1)

Avoid aiming the occupancy detector at
pools, heating vents, air conditioners or
objects which may change temperature
rapidly.
Do not allow sunlight to fall directly on the
front of the unit.
The occupancy detector is more sensitive
to an object moving across its field of view.
It is less sensitive to an object moving
directly
towards

The unit has a sensing angle of 360° and
can detect up to 3 meters radius for micro

sensor
head.
