B. Once towel is dispensed, tear towel to dry hands.A
second towel cannot be dispensed until the first towel
is removed. After the towel is removed, a short delay
will occur to avoid paper waste.
Note: To adjust the delay, see Step 5,"Adjusting the
Settings. "
3. Replacing Batteries
A. The "low battery" light is located on the lower right
and indicates that the battery power is low.
Note: When indicator light appears, dispenser will
continue to operate for a limited period of time.
B. Replace batteries with four "D" cell alkaline batteries.
Non-alkaline batteries will have reduced life.
C. Load batteries as indicated on the diagram located on
the inside lid of battery compartment.
D. Battery Handling and Disposal Instruction
1. Keep in original packaging until ready for use.
2. Remove battery from device when not in use for
an extended period of time.
3. Never disassemble battery. Chemicals inside
battery can be dangerous if swallowed or exposed
to skin.
4. Avoid mechanical or electrical abuse.
5. Keep away from children.
6. Battery is not designed to be recharged.
7. Avoid extreme temperatures.
8. Do not incinerate, since battery may explode at
excessive temperatures.
9. Do not dispose of large amounts of batteries as it
creates a safety risk.
10. Dispose of accumulated batteries in accordance
with appropriate federal, state, and local
regulations.
11. Do not mix old and new batteries or non-
rechargeable and rechargeable batteries.

LOADING THE ROLL
(see illustration steps 1-5)
1. Place new roll in roll supports (make sure that the towel
is fed over the top).
2. Pull towel downward, lift the tucker bar and tuck the towel
behind it.
3. Fold and crease a 1" flap at the end of the towel by folding it
up (tucker bar teeth should rest in crease).

4. With the tucker bar in place, press the paper feed button
on the lower right of the dispenser.
5. Once the towel feeds through the bottom, tear off the
sheet and discard.
LOADING REPLACEMENT ROLLS
(see illustration steps A-E)
A. A replacement roll can be added when the partial roll is
less than the width of the support (4" or less),
B. Pull the carousel lock bar toward you and rotate the
carousel down 180° until it locks.The partial roll should
now be on the bottom. Rewind excess towel back onto
the roll.
C. Place new roll in roll supports (make sure that the towel
is fed over the top).
D. Lift the tucker bar and tuck the towel behind it.
E. Fold and crease a 1" flap at the end of the towel by
folding it up. The tucker bar will be raised and will
activate/feed the new roll just before the old roll is
depleted.

STEP SEVEN
Troubleshooting the Dispenser
Dispense towels by moving hand in front of dispenser
within sensor range and immediately tear off towel. Repeat
this procedure 1-2 times to confirm proper operation. If
towel does not dispense when moving hand in front of
dispenser, open the dispenser and check the following:
1. Check inside the paper chute for a paper jam.
If necessary, clear.
2. Check that towel is properly loaded.
3. Advance towel using paper feed button to confirm
power.
4. If no power, check batteries to confirm alignment.
5. Close dispenser cover. Red light will turn off.The
dispenser is ready.
6. If a transfer does not occur, the dispenser will activate
once and default into a "Suspend" mode until paper is
properly loaded.The "Suspend"mode prevents
unnecessary battery drain and excess motor wear.To
reactivate the dispenser, re-load the replacement roll per
the loading instructions.The Cormatic
continue normal operation.
