the firebox main power "on/off" switch must be switched "on" before any of the control functions, (on the firebox and/or remote control)

this firebox insert features conveniently separate controls for the flame effect and heat control .
this feature allows you to operate the unit in two different ways:
• as a full featured fireplace insert with both flame effect and heater operating simultaneously .
• as a visual effect with flame effect only . (i .e . no heating cycle)
note: this firebox insert is not designed to operate in "heat" only mode without a flame effect .
all of the firebox control functions can be accessed in two ways:

Using the remote control

NOTE: the main power button on the firebox must be turned
on for the remote control to function .
□ on/oFF: ensure the master power switch is on and press
the "on/off" button (1) on the remote control . the flame
effect (only) will turn on . to turn the firebox "off" press the
"on/off" button again .
□ Press the flame button (2) to achieve the desired effect (no
heat) .
□ HeatinG: Press the low heat button (3) for low heat . Press
again to turn off . Press the high heat button (4) for high
heat . Press again to turn off .
NOTE: the flame effect is always active when the heating
cycle is operational .
