Warning:
Handle the blade with care.
Do not place your fingers or hand between the notches in the blade or in any position where they could get pinched
or cut.
Never service the blade or hedge trimmer unless the battery pack is removed.
Do not use if the blade assembly is damaged or bent. Take to a qualified person to straighten, replace, or sharpen.
Always keep both hands on the hedge trimmer handles to prevent your hand from touching the blade.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below.
Trimming hedges, shrubs, and bushes with branch diameters less than 3/4".
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps, etc.
Securely tighten all fasteners and caps and do not operate this product until all missing or damaged parts are replaced.
HOLDING THE HEDGE TRIMMER
The unit has both a front and rear handle. With the blade directed away from you, hold the unit by both handles. The
switch in the front handle can be activated on any of the three sides, giving you many choices for a comfortable grip
when performing cutting operations.
Warning:
shrubs with one hand while operating the hedge trimmer with the other hand. Failure to heed
this warning may result in serious injury.
STARTING AND STOPPING THE HEDGE TRIMMER (FIG 3)
The hedge trimmer has two switches and a lock-off button used together to prevent accidental start-ups.
1.
Place one hand on the front handle (3). Depress the front switch (4) and hold.
2.
Push the lock-off button (5) forward with thumb of your other hand, then squeeze the rear switch (6) to start the
hedge trimmer.

Release the lock-off button. The hedge trimmer will stay on as long as both front and rear switches are squeezed on.

The hedge trimmer will stop if you release either front or rear switch.

CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG 4)
NOTE:
Always Check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the ratings plate.
• Slide the battery all the way into the charger stand until it locks in place with a click, as shown in A-FIG 4. A red status
light indicates the battery is charging. The status light will turn to be green when the battery is fully charged.
• When the status light turns amber, it indicates the battery temperature is either too high or too low to be charged.
Wait the battery temperature back to room temperature before starting the charging.
• If the amber status light persists even when the battery temperature is in normal temperature range, the battery may
be damaged and will never be charged.

OPERATION

To avoid personal injury:
always keep both hands on the hedge trimmer handles. never hold
