Storage
Before storing the backpack sprayer for an extended period;
1. Follow the procedures of "After operation" (see page 48).
2. To prevent the water from freezing in winter, drain the water completely
from pump chamber.
a. Disconnect the sprayer hose from pump chamber.
To prevent the nozzle pipe from being clogged, make sure that no dirt or
dust is in the sprayer hose or the backpack sprayer after disconnecting the
sprayer hose.

b. Start the engine (see page 37).
c. Move the throttle lever between the FAST position and the SLOW position
(see page 46), and hold it there for ten seconds to drain the pump chamber
completely.
d. Stop the engine (see page 42).
