General Description
This unit is a complete digital current loop panel meter for displaying
engineering units from a 4 - 20mA signal. The meter is powered by the
signal, no external power source being required.
There are two multiturn potentiometers built in, 'offset' - for high
resolution zero trim, and 'span' - for gain adjustment.
Features
• 3 digit liquid crystal display
• 12.7mm digit height
• Powered by 4 - 20mA signal
• Adjustable offset and span
• Decimal point user selectable
• Panel mounted with optional mounting bezel
Calibration Procedure
Example: If you have a 4 - 20mA transmitter, with a range from 0 -
1200, proceed as follows;
1. Apply 4mA to input. Adjust offset potentiometer to give zero reading.
2. Apply 20mA to input. Adjust span potentiometer to give reading of
1200.
3. Repeat procedure 1 and 2 for higher accuracy.
