No. The Static Correction is delivered when your pet crosses the established
boundary. It is designed to get your pet's attention, but not punish him. This method
has been proven safe and will not harm your pet.
No. The Static Correction is produced by the Contact Points on the Receiver Collar,
not the Boundary Wire. With proper use, the system is safe for all.

Static Correction, it is safe and effective for pets over 3.6 kg (8 lb). The system
includes one Receiver Collar; additional Receiver Collars are sold separately.
Yes. The system can be used with an existing fence if you have a problem with your
pet digging under or jumping over a traditional fence.
When trained properly, most pets will only receive a few Static Corrections during
normal usage.
Because all pets are different, training on this system can be started once your pet
can learn basic obedience commands like "sit" and "stay". The system should only be
used with pets who are over 6 months of age. If your pet is injured or its mobility is
otherwise impaired, contact your veterinarian or professional trainer before use.
Troubleshooting
• Check battery to make sure it is installed properly.
• Check that both lights are lit on the Fence Transmitter. If not, perform the "Short
Loop Test".
• Make sure the Static Correction Level is set to level 2, 3, 4 or 5.
• Test the Receiver Collar with the Test Light walking toward the Boundary Wire.
• If the Test Light flashes, check the fit of the Receiver Collar.
• Trim your pet's fur where the Contact Points touch the neck and/or use the longer
Contact Points included in the system.
• Increase the Static Correction Level.
• Repeat training steps to reinforce training.
