2.1

SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNING
Read these instructions carefully before installing or maintaining the equipment.
WARNING
Installation or maintenance of this equipment shall only be performed by competent and
instructed personnel according to national regulations and applicable standards.
WARNING
This equipment shall only operate in zone 2 for gas and zones 21 and 22 for dusts. It can
not be installed in other ATEX zones.
WARNING
Technical data showed in the ATEX label of the equipment, this manual or the ATEX
certificates have to be fulfilled.
Technical data showed in the enclosure labels have to be fulfilled.
WARNING
This equipment shall only operate according the parameters for which has been designed
and without any damage or malfunction.
WARNING
For installation, maintenance and cleaning of the equipment it is necessary to follow all
the standards related to protection against explosions (EN60079-14, EN60079-17), and
also the regulations related to accident prevention.
WARNING
This equipment shall not be stored neither operated outside the range of temperatures
showed in the ATEX certificate.
WARNING
This equipment shall be connected to the installation ground.
WARNING
Never open the enclosure when an explosive atmosphere of gas or dust is present.
WARNING
DO NOT OPEN IF POWER IS ON: Power supply of the equipment has a fuse. Avoid powering
on until the enclosure is closed and, for zone 2, the restricted breathing test has been
satisfactorily performed.
WARNING
Installer shall assure that cables have an appropriate mechanical protection that avoids
damages to the wires.
