-» Banged on the ground or against objects
-» Used to drag loads along the ground.
-» Moved in any direction other than vertical by the lifting and moving equipment.
-» Used in winds higher than 70km/ph.
-» Subject to sudden changes in speed, especially when loaded.
-» Attached to the hook of the lifting and moving equipment at any point other than the reinforced triangular lifting arm.
4- Conditions of Use
The bucket is designed to lift and move concrete of a density of no higher than 2400 Kg/m3.
The bucket must be attached correctly by the lifting arm directly to the hook of the lifting and moving equipment.
The ground on which the bucket is resting must be able to bear the bucket'sworking payload for the model indicated.
5- Transportation
It is recommended that the bucket be hoisted by its lifting arm during loading and unloading.
Before transporting the bucket, it must be well protected and tied down with ropes or cords to ensure it is held tightly in position.
6- Instructions
Make sure the working area is well lit and that no poorly illuminated areas exist where visibility is restricted.
Always use gloves, boots and a helmet while performing working and maintenance tasks.
6.1- Attaching the Lifting Hook
Attach the hook on the lifting and moving equipment to the bucket's reinforced triangular lifting arm and check that the safety latch returns to the
resting position.
Make sure that the cable attached to the lifting hook is not taut.
6.2- Use
6.2.1- Filling
The bucket is designed to require only one operator during filling.
The area where the bucket is fillied should be free of objects that could unbalance the equipment.
The ground underneath the bucket should not have more than a 2% inclined.
Before filling the bucket, check if the discharge gate is fully closed.
When filling, make sure the bucket is positioned centrally.
Fill the bucket gradually until reaching the maximum capacity (5cm below the bottom of the edge).
6.2.2- Lifting
The bucket should always be raised vertically and slowly. It may then be moved more rapidly if required.
While lifting and moving the bucket, take care to ensure it remains balanced, especially if loaded.
Warning: Always use the best practices for lifting and moving loads.
Always ensure the lifting arm is correctly attached to the hook of the lifting and moving equipment.
