Preparation
• Do not allow children or other people to use the shredder.
• Never use the machine if there are people or animals near the working area.
• The user is responsible for any accident or damage that can occur to people or
to their properties.
• Use ear protectors and goggles while working.
• Use suitable working clothes, mainly protective gloves, strong footwear and
long trouser. Do not use baggy or loose clothes.
• Only use the machine in places free of obstacles, on top of a rigid and flat
surface.
• Before starting the machine, check that all nuts, screws, and bolts are well
tightened. The covers and the safety plates must be in their correct place and in
a good state of operation. Damaged or illegible stickers should be replaced.
• Only use original spare pieces and accessories. Use of non original pieces will
not be covered by the warranty.
• Do not leave the machine working without vigilance, place it in a dry place and
out of the reach of children.
• Connect the machine only to the mains with an earth ground. The earth ground
and the extra wire should have a protective conductor in a good state of
operation.
• When using the machine in outside areas, the machine should be connected to
the mains with a circuit breaker (switch FI) with an average current that does not
exceed 30 mA.
Working with the machine
• Before starting the machine, make sure that the hopper are empty.
• Keep your head and your body away from the shredder entry and from the
shredder exit.
• Do not touch the mains or the shredder exit while the machine is working.
Immediately after the machine is switched off, the shredder will continue
working for a short time.
