Location and Function of Controls
!§ REMOTE 2 connector (half pitch 26-pin)
When operating the unit on a console, connect to the
console.
!¶ AC IN connector
Connect to an AC outlet.
!• TRIGGER jack (minijack)
The signal is transmitted to external equipment
whether the switcher is on or off. This is not a power
source.
Approximately 12 V trigger signal is output when the
switcher power is on. When the power of the switcher
is not turned on, the signal is not output.
!ª CONTROL S connectors
IN/PLUG IN POWER (5 V) jack (stereo minijack):
Connect to the CONTROL S OUT connector of
other Sony equipment.
OUT jack (stereo minijack): Connects to the
CONTROL S IN jack of other Sony equipment.
@º AUDIO L/R output jacks (phono type)
Outputs the stereo output signal. The monaural signal
outputs the same signal from the L and R jacks.
You can adjust the audio level in the CONTROL
MENU.
For details on setting the audio output level, see "Setting the
Audio Output Level" on page 18 (EN).
@¡ Space for mounting signal interface boards
You can mount up to eight signal interface boards.
Slots are numbered from the right side.
Note
Mounting or dismounting of signal interface boards
must be performed by qualified personnel only.

Confirm the following before connecting all
equipment.
Setting the index number
• Assign the identical group index number for
equipment within the same group.

For setting the group index number, see "Setting the
Group Index Number" (page 20 (EN)) and the instruction
manual of the projector.
• Set the right group index and switcher numbers.
Do not set the same switcher number in one group.
Otherwise, the error message appears when the SYS
SET button is pressed.
• Assign the number 1 to the switcher that outputs
the signal to the projector.
Set this switcher to 1.
