Please read these instructions carefully. The instructions are an integral component of
the product. Therefore, please store them and the packaging carefully in case questions
arise in the future. Please always include these instructions when giving the product to
a third party. This product must be assembled by an adult. This product is not designed
for industrial use. The use of the product requires certain capabilities and skills. Always
adjust according to the age of the user and use for the purpose it has been designed for.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
GENERAL WORKOUT PRINCIPLES
1. Warm-Up
Warm-up before each workout. Walking or running on a point, stretching and easy stret-
ching exercises are perfectly suitable as warm-up.
2. Breathing
The correct breathing plays an important role during the workout. Breathe calmly and
constantly. Never stop breathing during the workout.
3. Clothing and space
Put on for the workout comfortable sports wear and pay attention that you have enough
space around you for the execution of your exercises. Always put on sport shoes, never
train shoeless, with flip-flops, socks or tights.
4. Workout tactics
Do not ask too much of you and adjust the exercises and the range of exercises always
to your level of proficiency. First start with just a few minutes and increase the efficiency
slowly from week to week. Take a break between two workout units of at least one day.
On principle consult your medical practitioner before starting an exercise programme.
5. Cooling-down
Cool down after the workout with easy stretching exercises. That's how the pulse can
come down slowly and the body regenerates faster for the next stress as the metabolic
waste (lactate) can be better decomposed by the finishing movement.
6. Level of difficulty
Start training using a step height of 10 cm. If the training goes well then increase the
Stepper to 15 cm.
7. Health
Stop the exercise programme immediately when you feel a dragging pain in the muscles or
also when general pains occur during the performance of the exercises. For safety contact
a medical practitioner.
ABOUT THE EXERCISES
Step aerobics is a type of exercise workout done to music, using a rectangular step of vari-
able height (HUDORA Aerobic Step). The workout involves many variations of steps up and
down, on and off the Aerobic Step. Many different arm movements may also be done at the
same time. Step aerobics enables you to improve stamina, speed, flexibility and physical
fitness. The height of your HUDORA Aerobic Step can be raised from 10cm to 15cm by
adjusting the two supports, which can be found in the hollow cavity of your Step. You can
decide the height of your Step. For beginners, we recommend using it at a height of 10cm.
You can use your HUDORA „Aerobic-Step"at home or you can take it with you to training.
However, before you start training on your own, we recommend beginners to take a step-
aerobics course fi rst in order to learn the various numbers of steps, arm movements and
choreography involved. Furthermore, you can acquire videos, DVDs, and specialized books
over the Internet or in specialist stores.

Stand in front of the Aerobic Step = starting position
Step with your left foot on the step...
... step with your right foot on the step...
... place your left foot back on the floor...
... follow with the right foot = starting position
Step combination: straddle-up step (fig 2.1 - 2.5)
Stand with the Step between your feet = starting position
Place your right foot on the right side of the step...
... follow with the left foot (feet are now next to each other on the step)
Place your right foot back on the floor...
... follow with your left foot = starting position
Step combination: up & over (fig 3.1 - 3.5)
Stand at the side of the step (left side of Step shown in picture) = starting position
Step with your right foot on the right side...
... follow with your left foot (both feet are now next to each other on the Step)
... first step with right foot back down to the floor...
... followed by the left foot = starting position, but on the opposite side of the step
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special cleaning agents! Check
the product for damage or traces of wear and tear before and after each use. Do not make
any structural changes. For your own safety, please use original spare parts only. These can
be sourced from HUDORA. If parts become damaged or if sharp edges or corners should
develop, the product may not be used any more. If in any doubt, please contact our service
team (http://www.hudora.de/service/). Store the product in a safe place where it is protec-
ted from the elements, cannot be damaged, and cannot injure anyone.
DISPOSAL ADVICE
At the end of the product's life, please dispose of it at an appropriate collection point provi-
ded in your area. Local waste management companies will be able to answer your questions
on this.
