PS710 FOOD STEAMER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Wash the Lid, Rice Bowl, Steaming Bowls and juice collector with warm soapy water,
rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the Main Body with a damp cloth or sponge.
CAUTION: do not immerse main body in water or other liquid.
OPERATION
1.
Place the main body on a stable surface, away from any objects that may be
damaged by steam.
2.
Use the flex storage under the main body to adjust the cord length.
3.
Put the turbo steam-ring around the heating element.
4.
Fill the water reservoir with cold water until the MAX level is reached.
5.
Caution: never put any seasoning or liquid other than water into the water
reservoir.
6.
Place the juice collector on the main body.
7.
Put the food into the steaming bowls. We recommend putting the largest pieces
of food, with longer cooking times, in the lower bowl.
8.
Place the steaming bowls on the juice collector.
9.
Put the lid on top.
10. Plug the unit into a correct rating socket and switch on the appliance with the
electronic countdown timer. (See Timer setting)
CAUTION: make sure that there is water in the water reservoir before switching on.
USING SEVERAL STEAMING BOWLS AT THE SAME TIME
1.
Different food items can be put in each bowl, but make sure the flavours
complement each other.
2.
If you are cooking foods with different cooking times, start in the lower steaming
bowl with the food requiring a longer cooking time. When the timer reaches the
correct setting for the food with the shorter cooking time, remove the lid and put
the upper steaming bowl in position. Replace the lid and continue cooking.
