Stale air supply toward outside (extract)
(fig. 9).
This inlet is used to expel stale air, which has already been treated in the heat
exchanger, to the outside. The duct to which the exhaust must be connected must
be thermally insulated (to avoid the formation of condensation inside or outside
its parts), and provided with devices to dampen any vibrations. If the exhaust
takes place from the roof, there must be a suitable device present to prevent the
formation of condensation and the entry of rainwater.
Fresh air from outside
(fig. 10)
This inlet is used for the entry of fresh air from the outside. The relative duct must
be thermally insulated and provided with devices able to dampen any vibrations.
If air inlet occurs from the roof, the use of a suitable device is required to prevent
the formation of condensate and the entry of rain water.
Stale air exhaust from room (extract)
(fig. 11)
This inlet is used to convey stale air extracted from inside the house into the
device. The duct must be thermally insulated.
Fresh air supply to room
(fig. 12)
This inlet is used to pump fresh outside air, which has already been treated in the
heat exchanger, into the house.
