SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General notes
Check the trailer and all parts before and after each use. Proper care and
maintenance of the trailer is essential for safety.
When assembling the trailer, make sure that the wheels are correctly and
securely mounted. Inflate the tyres to the desired pressure and check the
pressure before each use. Excessive tyre pressure can cause the trailer to
jump or tip over. Only use tires with road tread, not BMX tread or knob
tread.
Securely attach the trailer hitch to the bicycle frame. The connector
should be tightened, the securing strap wrapped around the strut or frame
and the locking pin closed.
The person riding the bicycle should be at least 18 years old and in good
physical condition.
Make sure that the bicycle used with the trailer is in good working order
and has good brakes. Have your bicycle checked for compatibility by a
qualified bicycle mechanic.
If you ride frequently at dusk or dawn, reflectors that comply with the
Highway Code must be fitted to the rear and sides of the trailer.
Be especially careful when turning and riding downhill on uneven road
surfaces.
Do not drive over curbs. Avoid bumps and holes. Always signal when
turning.
Do not ride on motorways, busy roads or in areas that are not safe for
cycling.
Do not use trailers in snow or icy conditions.
Do not ride at high speed.
Make sure that the child's body, clothing, shoelaces or toys do not come
into contact with moving parts.
Note: Do not overload the trailer. The load limit for cargo and/or
passengers is 40 kg (100 lb). Position the load as low as possible and
centre it inside the trailer (front to back and left to right). The load must be
secured so that it cannot slip.
