3.2 Contraindications

Because of the increased risk of an arterial embolism, the application of argon gas is not
recommended in patients with aortic-pulmonary septal defect or such with arterial septal defect.

4 Structure and basic components of the system

The housing of the HBS Argon is made of metal and glass. As no openings are available for
ventilation, the unit is simple to clean (cf. 12.1)
