OPERATION
This pump is self–priming. To prime it the first time, it is convenient to connect the air supply to the pump while keeping the outlet valve opened,
and increase the air pressure slowly from 0 to the desired pressure by using a pressure regulator.
Once grease starts flowing through all the outlets, the pump is primed. The pump starts to pump when an outlet valve is opened.
NOTE: It is important that the foot valve do not come in contact with dirty areas, such as a workshop floor, because it may become contaminated
with dirt or other particles that can damage the seals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOMS
The pump is not working or there is no
fluid delivery.
The pump begins to operate very fast. Pump dry-runing. The drum is empty.
The
pump
keeps
on
operating
although the fluid outlet is closed.
Air leabreage through the air outlet
muffler (25).
Fluid flow out put too low or diminishes
over time.
REPAIR AND CLEANING PROCEDURE
SEPARATE THE AIR MOTOR FROM THE PUMP
Operate the pump controlling it with the ball valve on the air motor
supply (pos. A).
1. Put the pump in a stable position, using a lifter with the eye-bolt or a
vise, for instance. By slowly feeding compressed air, make the pump
cycle til the divorce nut (58) gets aprox in the midle of the stroke.
2. Take away protection screens (59) and (60).
3. Pull out the spring pins (57).
4. Take away bolts (65) to set free the four divorce rods (61).
5. Carefully get apart the lowers sub-assembly and unscrew divorce nut
(58) from the rod (50) til both assemblies get separated.

There is a fluid leakage at some point in the circuit.
Contamination in the piston valve (75).
Contamination in the foot valve (80).
Damage or worm piston O-ring (39).
The air seal of the inverter assembly is damaged and
worm (8).
Damage or worm spool seals.
Contamination in the foot valve (80).
Contamination in the piston valve (72).
The exhaust muffler is clogged by compressed air dirt
or lubricant.
SOLUTIONS
Increase the air supply pressure.
Clean or open the outlet circuit.
Bleed the air in follower plate.
Open the 1/4" port or fluid outlet to bleed air
from the pump.
Replace the drum.
Verify and tighten or repair.
Disassemble and clean. Replace if damaged (75).
Disassemble and clean. Replace if damaged (80).
