Pick up the new bulb without putting your fingers outside the socket.
(If you do, clean it with a soft cloth and methylated spirits).
Gently insert the entire bulb into the quartz sleeve.
Re-connect the connector to the bulb (Do not force it: there is a direction of
connection).
Replace the cover and refit the screws.
Reconnect the unit and turn it back on.
The unit is ready for use.
