RESISTENCE ADJUSTMENT:
The resistance (intensity of the exercise) is controlled
by the tension knob located above the emergency
brake.
To increase the tension, turn the knob clockwise. To
decrease the resistance, turn the tension know coun-
ter-clockwise.
If you need to use the emergency brake, simply push
the red lever downward.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT:
The proper adjustment of the seat is essential for
effective exercise and to prevent the risk of injury.
To determine whether the seat is properly adjusted,
sit and adjust on the equipment.
The pedal should be in the fully down position. Your
leg should be slightly bent. If you are stretching your
leg too much or if it is too bent, the height of the seat
should be adjusted as needed.
After adjustment, it is very important to be sure that
the seat lock pin is firmly locked in the position set.
1. To adjust the height of the seat (up and down).
1. To adjust the height of the seat, turn the knob
counter-clockwise to loosen it and pull it, releasing
the lock pin. Then pull the seat up or down to set the
desired height. After adjustment, do the reverse ope-
ration (clockwise) to lock the seat in the position set.
2. To adjust the position of the seat (forward and
backward).
Turn the knob counter-clockwise to loosen it and
move the seat forward or backward to set the desired
position.
Then, do the reverse operation (clockwise) to lock the
seat in the position.
LEVELING:
After completing assembly of the equipment, if it has
not been perfectly leveled, use the leveling feet to do
the leveling, turning them clockwise and counter-clo-
ckwise.
