• The cord supplied with this appliance,
must not be replaced by the user. If the
cord is damaged, or has to be replaced,
contact only a Service Centre
authorised by the manufacturer.
• Do not let the supplied cord in contact
with the hot parts of the appliance.
• During use, the appliance becomes
extremely hot and can cause serious
burns. Always pick up the iron by the
handle and avoid contact with the
metallic parts and steam.
• Do not direct the steam spray to
people, as it is dangerous.
• Do not use the iron on garments which
are too damp.
• Do not leave the iron resting on its
base, if it is still hot. Let it cool, first.
• Do not mix stain removers or similar
products, to use on garments which are
being ironed.
• Unplug the appliance when it is not in
use. Do not leave it plugged
unnecessarily.
• This appliance, has a safety device that
when is activated, switches it off. In
order to reactivate it, you must contact a
Service Centre authorised by the
manufacturer.
• The boiler should not be moved during
use.
• Never unscrew the boiler cap when
the appliance is connected to the
power supply.
• Do not leave water in the appliance at
temperatures of 0º C or less.
• The boiler should be placed on a
stable, flat, rigid, heat-resistant surface.
• If, eventually, the cap or the hydraulic
and electrical safety system are
damaged, contact your nearest
authorised Service Centre.
• When you decide to stop using the
appliance for good, disconnect the
plug from the main socket and then cut
the supplied cord.

Before steam ironing, check if the cloth is
suitable for this type of ironing. The
appliance works with tap water. In the
event of very hard water, with hardness
higher that 27º F, we recommend using
distilled water without any additives.
