Indicator Light Description
Error The Error indicator light will come on if any problems occur with the food recycler. Before calling for
assistance or service, please check the "Wi-Fi Signal" indicator light description below for possible problems
or the "Troubleshooting" sections, as it may save you the cost of a service call. If you still need help, please
refer to the contact information in the "Troubleshooting" sections.
Indicates when the unit is connected to the Wi-Fi from your home router.

See the "Connectivity Setup" section for more information on how to connect your food recycler to Wi-Fi.
Indicates when the controls are locked.
Indicates when the lid is locked. The lid cannot be unlocked during the recycling cycle. When the process is
complete and the homemade fertilizer has been transferred to the output bin, the lid will automatically unlock.
The Insert Bin indicator light will flash three times and invalid tones will sound if you attempt to start a cycle
and the output bin is not in place. The food recycler should not be run if the output bin has not been emptied.
The food recycler will not run if the output bin is not in place. The Insert Bin light will turn off when the output
bin is properly installed.
Indicates that the water reservoir is full. A recycling cycle cannot be started until the water is drained.
NOTE: Due to natural evaporation, the water level in the reservoir may maintain a low enough level that
the reservoir will not need to be emptied more than once a year for best performance and to avoid buildup.
See the "Emptying the Water Reservoir" section for more information on how to drain the water.
The Close Lid indicator will light when the lid is open. If the lid is left open for more than 5 minutes an alert
tone will sound. An alert tone will sound every 2 minutes until the lid is closed. The food recycler will not run if
the lid is open. The Close Lid indicator light will flash three times and invalid tones will sound if you attempt to
run a cycle when the lid is open.
NOTE: The Close Lid indicator will flash continuously if there is an obstruction keeping the lid from closing.
The Order Filter status light reminds you when it's time to order a new filter. The light will illuminate 15 days
prior to the recommended filter replacement schedule.
Indicates when a new filter should be installed. The "Replace Filter" icon will illuminate when 2 months have
passed since the filter was installed and the "Reset Filter" was activated.
After replacing the filter, press and hold RESET FILTER for 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator light.

If the filter is missing, the Replace Filter indicator light will flash until the filter is replaced.

The Replace Filter indicator light will flash 3 times and invalid tones will sound if you try to run a cycle

without the filter in place.
The Air Filter should be replaced every 2 months. If you notice increases in odor level before 2 months,
replace filter more often. See the "Replacing Air Filter" section for more information on how to replace the air
filter.
Cycle ring indicator lights will rotate in a circular pattern clockwise when a current cycle is canceled until

cooled down, at which time the lid will unlock.
