4.3 Switching off the clock function
The clock function can also be switched off to extend the battery life.
Press „SET" in standby mode for approx. 5 seconds. The time is no longer displayed.
To reactivate the time display, press „SET" again in standby mode for approx. 5 seconds. A number
starts to blink in the display. Then proceed as described in 4.2. Switching on the time.
4.4 Change picture
Place the scale on a flat surface with the glass face down. Open the flap and change the picture.
The optimum picture size is 20 x 25 cm. If you wish to use a standard photo print, measure 20 x 25
cm and trim the photo to size.
Your photo will stay in position if you reverse the included original picture and glue your photo to the
grey back (e.g. using double-sided adhesive tape). The grey colour will also make it easy for you to
insert smaller pictures or a photo collage.

4.5 Wall mounting

The scale can be mounted on the wall with suitable screws.
Drill two holes horizontally side by side to fit the wall mount (16 cm) and screw in the screws until
the wall mount is fixed in position by the screw heads. Check that the scale is securely and safely
mounted.

4.6 Positioning scales

Fold out the foot until it is perpendicular to the scale. Place it on a flat surface and check that it is
securely positioned.

5. Measuring weight

Place the scale on a firm level floor (no carpet); a firm floor covering is
required for correct measurement. Audibly, briefly and firmly tap the scale
with your foot to active the vibration sensor!
The clock display changes and the complete display appears as a self-test
(Fig. 1) until it reaches „0.0" (Fig. 2) is displayed.
Now the scale is ready to measure your weight. Now step onto the scale. Stand
still on the scale with your weight distributed evenly between both legs. The
scale immediately begins to measure your weight. Your measured weight is
displayed shortly after this (Fig 3).
The scale switches off 10 seconds after you step down from it. The result re-
mains visible for this time. If the clock function is activated, the scale automati-
cally switches back to displaying the time.
Make sure that you always switch on the scale first and wait for the display
„0.0" (Fig. 2) before stepping on. Otherwise the display will show „Err".
If the maximum load capacity of the scale (150 kg) is exceeded, the display will show „0-Ld".
