Slide the screwdriving attachment over the screwdriv-
ing bit 1 to the stop on the spindle collar of the drive
tool. Tighten fastening screw 10 with an enclosed key.
Setting the Screw Length
Press and hold the quick-action locking screw 5 and
slide the stop 8 until the desired value is indicated on
the scale 6. The stop is affixed at this position through
the locking screw 5.
Setting the Screw-in Depth
7
Adjustment –: Lesser screw-in depth, screw head
protrudes.
Adjustment +: Greater screw-in depth, screw head
immersed.
The required screw-in depth depends on the material,
and is best determined through practical trial.
Inserting Screw Strips
Slide the screw strip into the guide 9. The 1. screw of
the screw strip must rest against the transport hook.
To ensure proper functioning of the auto-
matic transport mechanism, a return stroke
must be performed before beginning the
screwdriving work each time the screw strip
is inserted/exchanged, in order to bring the
1. screw into the working position.
Working Advice
Check the rotation direction of the drive tool before
beginning the screwdriving work. The screwdriving
attachment may only be operated in the "clock-
wise rotation direction".
Always drive in screws at a right angle to your
work.
Screws already driven in cannot be driven out or
retightened with the screwdriving attachment.
The desired screw-in
depth can be variably
adjusted by changing
the setting of the
knurled screw 7 on the
rear of the device.
For proper functioning of the device, only screw
strips according to WÜRTH specification are
allowed to be used.
Switch the drive tool 4 on and apply the stop 8 against
the screwing location. Apply the screwdriving attach-
ment with uniform pressure against the material surface
until the clutch of the drive tool disengages upon reach-
ing the preset screw-in depth.
By briefly lifting the stop 8 from the material surface,
the next screw is transported into the working position.
Note: When the screwdriving bit slips in the head of
the screw, lift off the screwdriving attachment immedi-
ately, otherwise the screw head and the screwdriving
bit will be damaged.
