Trial Attachments
Before the actual attachment, a trial attachment
should be made on the same base material:
1. Make a trial attachment with a "green cartridge".
– If the attachment part is driven in too deeply, then
either:
– Use a larger attachment part
or
– The base material is not suitable for stud driv-
ing.
– If the attachment part protrudes, then:
2. Make a trial attachment with a "stronger yellow
cartridge".
– If the attachment part still protrudes, then:
3. Make a trial attachment with an "extra strong red
cartridge" and, if necessary, a shorter attachment
part (taking the minimum penetration depth into
consideration).
– If the attachment part still protrudes, then the
base material is not suitable for stud driving.
Caution!
Do not overload the attachment!
The strength is reduced as a result.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the housing regularly with a soft cloth that is
dampened, if necessary.
Avoid plastic dissolving cleaning agents.
Remove collected dust with pressurised air.
Disassembly
Every week as required or after each
2,500 attachments.
Press the safety button 10, the safety lock 3 opens.
Flip over the safety lock 3 and pull the cylinder as-
sembly 6 out of the housing.
Remove the cylinder holder clip 12 which loosens
the two cylinder holders 13.

Pull off the front cylinder 11.
Take out the stud guiding barrel 14.
Pull out the driving piston 15.
Barrel
Clean all parts carefully on the inside and out (clean-
ing set).
Check the parts carefully. Replace worn or dam-
aged parts.
Lightly oil all parts. (Maintenance spray Art. Nr.
893 051). Wipe off excessive oil.
Housing
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
Clean the housing interior and piston guide includ-
ing the cartridge chamber 16.
Clean the safety lock 3.
The springs 7 + 9 as well as the rubber seal 8 must
be in good condition.
Oil the safety lock 3.
