Adjusting the saw blade (fig. A & E)
The saw blade has been adjusted correctly when it
is centered on
the saw blade wheels and does not show wobble.
S lacken the locking screws (3) and open the cover
(7).
T urn the saw blade (5) around by turning the upper
saw blade wheel (21) into the sawing direction, and
check the running of the saw blade.
If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
S lacken the height adjuster (9) and slide the saw
blade until it is centered on the wheel.
C heck the running of the saw blade again and
further adjust if required.
T ighten the height adjuster.
Adjusting the saw blade guides (fig. A, F & G)
The saw blade guides have been adjusted correctly
if the saw blade has a clearance of max. 1 mm.
Upper saw blade guide
R emove the saw blade protection (6).
M ove the saw blade guide (22) to its upper position
using the height adjuster (10).
S lacken the screw (23).
S et the rear guide roller (24) to the correct
distance.
T ighten the screw (23).
S et the longitudinal guide rollers (25) to the correct
distance.
Adjustment of the longitudinal guide rollers is
performed simultaneously.
B y turning screw (23) out and turning screw (26) in,
the guide
roller to the left in the figure comes closer to the saw
blade.
B y turning screw (26) out and turning screw (23) in,
the guide
roller to the right in the figure comes closer to the
saw blade.
Lower saw blade guide
S lacken the screw (27).
S et the guide (28) to the required distance.
T ighten the screw (27).
Replacing the saw blade (fig. A, H & I)
S lacken the screws (3) and open the cover (7).
P ut the upper saw blade wheel (21) into its lowest
position by loosening the height adjuster (9) and
the adjusting screw (8).
S lacken the screws (29) a few threads and slide
the wheelbrush
(30) just away from the lower saw blade wheel (31).
R emove the old blade.
P ut the new blade (5) round the saw blade wheels
as shown.
First put the blade round the upper wheel, then,
while holding the blade in place, put it round the
lower wheel.
A djust the blade.
A djust the guides.
T ension the blade by tightening the adjusting
screw (8).
S lide the wheelbrush against the lower wheel and
tighten the screws (29).
C lose the cover and tighten the screws (3).
Before changing a saw blade, always unplug the
machine.
Only use sharp and undamaged blades. Bent saw
blades should be replaced immediately.
Always mount the saw blade with the teeth pointing
down.
Set the correct saw blade tension to
help avoid breaking the blade.
Adjusting the bevel angle (fig. J)
The bevel angle is infinitely adjustable between 0°
and 45°.
S lacken the clamping handle (11).
S et the desired bevel angle according to the scale
(32).
T ighten the clamping handle.
Mounting and adjusting the mitre gauge (fig. K)
The mitre gauge can be mounted both to the left
and to the right of the saw blade.
S lide the mitre gauge (33) into the slot (34) to the
left or right of the saw blade (5) as required.
S lacken the adjusting screw (35) and use a set
square to check that the mitre angle is 90°.
T ighten the adjusting screw.
set the indicator (36) to the
corresponding value on the scale (37).
The guide fence should always be
mounted to the machine with the
profile pointed towards the saw
Setting the mitre gauge for sawing straight
cross-cuts (fig. K)
S lacken the adjusting screw (35) and set the mitre
angle to 90°.
T ighten the adjusting screw.
Setting the mitre gauge for sawing mitre cuts
(fig. K)
The mitre angle is infinitely variable between 0° and
90°.
According to the scale, values can be set from 30°
to 90°.
S lacken the adjusting screw (35) and set the
required mitre angle.
T ighten the adjusting screw.
Mounting and setting the guide profile (fig. L)
The guide profile can be mounted both to the left
and to the right of the saw blade.
R elease the handle (38).
S lide the guide profile (39) with the bracket (40)
around the edges of the saw table (6) to the left or
right of the saw blade (5) as required.
C lamp the handle and make sure it points
downwards.
Make sure that the guide profile is
guiding as much of the workpiece
Beware that the guide profile is not
touching the saw blade.
U se a screwdriver to
blade.
