Troubleshooting

Problem
Air leaking from top of nail
gun or around trigger.
Air leaking from bottom of
nail gun or between gun and
cylinder head.
Nails driven in too deep.
Nail gun is not working
properly or is not driving in
nails properly.
Nail gun skips nails.
The nails get stuck.

Cause
The trigger valve is
damaged.
1. Loose screws.
2. O rings worn or
damaged.

excessive.
1. Supply pressure too low.
2. Nail gun needs
lubrication.
3. O-rings or gaskets are
damaged or nail gun is
defective.
1. Magazine spring is
defective.
2. Front plate or magazine

1. The wrong nails are
being used, or are
inserted backwards.
2. Magazine loose or dirty.

Solution
Have the air gun inspected
and repaired.
1. Tighten screws

inspected and repaired.
1. Tighten the screws.
2. Reduce pressure.
1. Increase pressure.
2. Lubricate nail gun.
3. Have the air gun
inspected and repaired.
1. Replace spring.
2. Clean front plate or
magazine.
3. Lubricate nail gun.
4. Have the nail gun
repaired.
1. Use the correct nails, or
insert nails correctly.
2. Fit magazine correctly
and check it is clean.
3. Have the air gun
inspected and repaired.
