7 Fault conditions
7.1
On/off lamp does not light and the paraffin wax remains cold
•
Check that the mains cable is correctly connected to the unit and to the wall socket
•
Check that the wall socket is live (for instance with another electrical unit)
•
Check that the mains cable is not defective (use a spare cable)
•
Check the mains fuses
7.2
Replacing mains fuses
Switch off the apparatus, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and disconnect the plug at the unit
input. Unscrew the fuse holder with a coin and replace the fuse with one of the same type (6,3 AF type
G). Screw the fuse holder in and reconnect the mains cable.
7.3
Warning lamp fault conditions [7] lights
This indicates that the unit is overheated, probably as a result of a technical defect. Switch off the unit and
remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Contact your local supplier. The Fango Heater can be
cleaned with a damp cloth and a (non abrasive) liquid household cleaner.
In order to obtain spare parts, you please contact your supplier.
8 Finally
Disposal
Your Fango Heater contains materials which can be recycled and/or are noxious for the environment.
At the end of the duration of life, specialised companies can take apart the Fango Heater and sort out the
noxious materials and materials for recycling. By doing so you contribute to a better environment.
Please ensure that you are well informed of the local rules and regulations regarding to the removal of
equipment and accessories.
