6. Operating the light
Prior to initial operation remove the
protective foils from the front side and
rear side of the light.
Turn on the light by pressing the
ON/OFF button (12) for approximately
1.5 seconds. The light runs now on
60 % brightness and 5600 Kelvin co-
lor temperature.
Now you can adjust the brightness
(POWER) (14) in 5 % steps from 10 %
to 100 % by pressing the UP (9) and
DOWN (10) buttons. Press the button
once for one step, for fast forward
press and hold the button.
Press the MODE button (11) briefly to
switch over to the color temperature
(CCT) control panel (15). Now you can
adjust the color temperature in 100-
Kelvin steps from 3200 Kelvin (artificial

light / warm white) via 5600 Kelvin
(daylight / neutral white) to 6500 Kelvin
(daylight / cold white) by pressing the
UP (9) and DOWN (10) buttons. Press
the button once for one step, for fast
forward press and hold the button.
Please note: After 5 seconds the color
temperature control panel will auto-
matically change back to the bright-
ness control panel.
To display the lighting effects (FLH)
control panel (16), press the MODE
button (11) somewhat longer. Now
you can select one of the hard-coded
lighting effects by pressing the UP (9)
and DOWN (10) buttons. Selections
are:
1 Fireworks
2 Explosions
3 Candle-light/fire
4 TV simulation
5 Popping-up flashbulbs
Press the MODE button (11) so-
mewhat longer and you will get back
to the brightness (POWER) control
panel and the lighting effects will be
turned off.
You should use the diffusor screen
(3) to obtain specially soft video-com-
patible illumination. For a smaller an-
gle of radiation (70°) and to reduce
stray light you may use the grid at-
tachment (2). Diffusor screen and grid
attachment are mounted with clips to
the light. Please make sure, that dif-
fusor screen and grid attachment are
positioned accurately atop the illumi-
nating surface.
