Trim notch in fascia lip approximately 3-1/4" wide.
on vehicle and may be used as a guide.
2.
Install 3/8 hex bolt and nut thru drivers side bracket on hitch as Shown.
3.
Driver side: Remove rubber muffler hanger from bracket. Remove two (2) M12 bolts and muffler hanger bracket. Note: Bracket must be
detached from heat shield. Cut heat shield tab or drill out rivet. Leave tab as long as possible to sandwich between frame and side bracket.
4.
Passenger side: Remove two (2) M12 bolts and tie down bracket.
5.
Remove rubber plugs from driver and passenger side frame rails and fishwire carriage bolt and block thru to rearmost hole as Shown.
Reinstall rubber plugs.
6.
Raise hitch into position (on driver's side sandwich heat shield tab between hitch side bracket and vehicle frame rail) install all fasteners as
Shown. Note: Fascia must be pulled outward to allow hitch to be raised into position. See Figure 2.
7.
Reinstall all rubber exhaust hangers. Install rubber muffler hanger as shown. Tighten 3/8 locknut until bolt end is flush with nut end.
8.
Return original fasteners, tie down bracket and muffler hanger bracket to vehicle owner.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.

Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 68 Lb.-Ft. (92 N*M)
Tighten all 7/16-14 GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
Tighten all 3/8-16 GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 30 Lb.-Ft. (41 N*M)
