Step 6. Carefully pull out
the glass tube assembly by
twisting and sliding up. Use
warm water to clean the
outside of the glass tube
and the inside of the lamp
housing.
Step 7. Carefully reinstall
the glass tube assembly,
making sure the o-ring 2 is
in place without any twists
or kinks to insure a water
tight seal.
Step 8. Carefully reinstall
the lamp holder and locking
ring, making sure the lamp
holder gasket sits level.
NOTE: This UV clarifier
includes a safety feature
that will not allow the light
to turn on if the lamp holder
or locking ring are not
securely fastened.
Step 9. Route the power
cord as shown and return
the wire clip using two
screws. Do not over tighten
the screws.
Step 10. Return the cap
using two screws.
Step 11. Reconnect the
filter to the power source.
Step 12. Wait several
seconds for the light to
turn on and then check the
indicator window to verify
if the light is functioning
correctly.
