Step 4. Check to make sure the back
flush switch is switched to working
mode as shown before attaching tubing.
Unplug your pump from an electrical
source before connecting tubing.
Connect the pump to the filter by
connecting tubing from the pump outlet
to the filter inlet. Return water to the
pond by connecting tubing to the outlet
of the filter and to the inlet of a water
feature or return to the pond.
Tubing can be added to back flush
outlet at this time to prepare for
routine cleanings. You can reconnect
your pump into a properly grounded
electrical outlet at this time.
Note: Pump, tubing, and water feature
are not included.
Step 5. Connect the plug into
a properly grounded electrical
outlet.
Step 6. Wait several seconds for
the light to turn and check the
indicator window to verify if the
light is functioning properly.
NOTE: The UV clarifier has a
safety feature that only allows
the UV light to turn on if the lamp holder is fully closed on the cover.
MAINTENANCE
Occasional cleaning of the filter
pads will be necessary to ensure the
proper functioning of the filter.
When the pressure indicator is
visibly red, a cleaning is required.
Step 1. This filter has a back flush
clean function which allows for
cleaning without disassembly.
Connect an additional line of tubing
to the tubing adapter and route the
tubing to a basin or flower bed for
the dirty water to discharge in.
NOTE: Tubing is not included.
