Transporting
• If the backpack sprayer has been running, allow it to cool down
before loading the backpack sprayer on the transport vehicle. A hot
engine and exhaust system can burn you and can ignite some
materials.
• Always turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
• Make sure the fuel tank cap is securely tightened.
• Keep the backpack sprayer level when transporting to reduce the
possibility of fuel leakage.
• To avoid severe burns or fire hazards, let the engine cool before
transporting the backpack sprayer or storing it indoors.
• When transporting the backpack sprayer, tighten the fuel tank cap
to prevent fuel spillage. Fuel vapor or spilled fuel may ignite.
• Drain all chemicals from the tank.
• Fix the backpack sprayer securely in level to the transport vehicle.
• Do not drive or ride on a vehicle with the backpack sprayer carrying
on your back. It might cause an unexpected accident.
• When transporting the backpack sprayer, attach nozzle pipe and
sprayer hose to the nozzle holder.
For the right-hand side nozzle, fix the nozzle pipe and sprayer hose
(short) in place with the nozzle holder. For the left-hand side nozzle,
turn the switching valve to the CLOSED position and remove the
nozzle pipe and sprayer hose (long) from the backpack sprayer.
